Yesterday at Meta, Nicki Ryan (also another student from LCC in Berlin) joined me in attending a Moving Picture Conference featuring animators and designers from all over the globe showcasing their amazinggg showreels. Throughout the night there were moving pictures that we’d never seen before, and also ones we had. They were all really interesting and inspiring but two that really stood out were Spin and FeedMee. Showing well executed ideas and talking about how they started as graphic designers then when into moving image. A really fascinating and interesting talk.
